East Africa in 20 days is a holiday dream come true. East Africa is comprised of the
republic of Tanzania (land of Kilimanjaro, Serengeti and Zanzibar), Kenya (magical
Kenya), Rwanda (land of Athousand hills) and the republic of Uganda – the pearl of
Africa. Uncover some of African natural habitats; the geographical features, waters,
food and hospitality. Visit Uganda for gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park,

Golden monkeys in Volcanos national park, chimpanzees and the canopy walk

After a safe flight, you will arrive at Entebbe international airport, with the view of Lake
Victoria; the largest freshwater lake in the continent of Africa. The scenic view ushers
you to the pearl of Africa for the 20 days trip around east Africa. After clearing with the
immigration, our company driver guide will happily welcome and brief you about the trip,
and then transfer to your accommodation. Experience a ride along Entebbe express
highway, which is reportedly the world’s most expense road project.
You will enjoy the beautiful view of the greenery, rolling hills, crystal clear waters, and
busy towns. Upon arriving at the hotel, you will check-in, and take a rest while waiting
for the next day travel to the western part of Uganda. Kampala is one of the none
sleeping cities in the world, thus experiencing a night life today is a bonus to your travel
experience. Have your meals and a good sleep at the hotel.
Start your day with a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter, hit the
road on a 4-5 hour scenic drive to Lake Mburo national park. While journeying through
this smooth route, keep the eyes fixed on the plantation cover, rolling hills, busy towns,
and dotted homesteads.
Have a stopover at the equator for photography and lunch, and thereafter proceed to
the park for the afternoon activity; boat cruise. You will arrive and be briefed about the
park, before proceeding to the boat for a sail on Lake Mburo, while watching the
stunning landscape, school of hippos, and school of crocodiles, aquatic birds, the
swamps, and more. At sunset, the activity ends, and you will drive to your lodge for
check-in, dinner and a peaceful nap.
Wakeup to a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter, a 3-4 hour game
drive at the open savannah park around Lake Mburo. The park is dominated by different
antelope species notably the Uganda Kobs, zebras, waterbuck, Jackson heartbeats,
elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, several birds, unique plants, and more. After the game
drive, you will return and check-out of the lodge for a scenic 6-7 hour drive to Bwindi
impenetrable national park, with the scenic view of the lush plantation, vast water
bodies, busy towns, and more. You will get to your lodge in the evening, check-in,
refresh, have dinner and have a sweet slumber.
This day starts very early in the morning with an energizing breakfast meal at the lodge.
Thereafter, get packed lunch, trekking items and documents and head to the park
headquarters for a pretrekking briefing which lasts for approximately 30mins. The
ranger guides take the briefing time to explain about the Gorillas, the trekking dos and
don’ts, and assign trekkers to the family to trek. It is a tiresome adventure, through hills
and valleys and the bushes. The team first visits the place the apes were last spotted,
and then a walk following the sounds, broken tree branches and more
Gorillas are the most powerful primate species in the world, gentle yet fun to watch.
Depending on your trekking speed, you will need about 1-8 hours to find them, and the
extra hour with them watching the pose of the silverback, the mother’s breastfeeding the
infants and the youngsters all samousalting.
You have an hour of watching the apes up-close, and thereafter have a Lunch break,
and then return to the lodge for refreshment, dinner and a peaceful nap. Any other
activity today is dependent one what time the Gorilla trekking activity ends and how
fresh you will be.
Wakeup to a lip-smacking breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter, a 4-5 hour road trip
to Queen Elizabeth national park, via the Ishasha sector, where you will lookout for the
tree climbing lions. Hopefully you encounter a few lazily lying at the tree top. A game
drive in search of the tree climbing lions takes about 3 hours, and thereafter Lunch.
Great view of the scenery, plants, and some of the animals you will encounter while
driving to your lodge. Arrive and check-in for relaxation, dinner and a peaceful sleep.
You will start the day at about 06:30hrs with a 3-4 hours’ game drive experience at the
open savanna park; standing with your camera in hopes of taking the best nature pic. It
is time when it is not about you but the animals the heart longs to spot. This step taken
to explore the wilderness offers a chance of encountering among others; the Uganda
Kobs, Leopards, warthogs, elephants, Buffaloes, waterbuck, and more, the birds,
different tree species and more. Your driver guide will explain the names, and
characteristics of what you will see while on the drive. Afterword’s, Bush breakfast
follows, and then a Lunch break.
In the afternoon, there will be boat cruise at Kazinga channel. There the stories will be
told, aquatic animals seen, birds, swamps, animals at the lake shores, and photography
on a 2-3 hours session. Get done and retire to the hotel for dinner and a night stay.
Wakeup to a bright day with a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter,
hit the road on a 7-9 hours’ journey to Rwanda’s home of gorillas and golden monkeys –
Volcanoes National Park. You will have an enroute stopover at the border post for
document verification, and next will be for lunch. All the way to the park, your eyes
never tire of seeing the rolling hills, African style homesteads, plantations and busy
towns. You will arrive at the lodge, check-in, and refresh as you wait for dinner and
sweet slumber.
This is a safari highlight. It is a golden opportunity to encounter the Golden monkey in
their natural habitat. Golden monkeys are one of the world’s most beautiful primate
species, with well-built bodies covered by far. They are very swift with playful thus
demanding for full attention from the viewers. After the pretrekking briefing which lasts
for about 30 minutes with ranger guides who will explain the trekking dos and don’ts and
accompany you in the search from where the Apes were last spotted, the experience
follows. Depending on one’s hiking speed and the distance the golden monkeys have
moved, a 1-4 hours of following the rhythm of the Jungle; opening the bushes and
paying attention to forest sounds.
By so doing, you get to encounter other primates, birds, and unique plant species found
in the park. Upon locating these monkeys, you have an hour of watching and taking
photos. We advise you pay full attention to their movement so as to capture good
photos. Thereafter, return to the lodge for a rest. Lunch is served at the wilderness.
Retire to bed after dinner and the day’s experience.
Wakeup to a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter, you will checkout
of the lodge for a 5-6 hour scenic drive to Nyungwe National park; one of Africa’s
primate capital. Enroute, there is a stopover for Lunch and cultural experience at
Nyanza kings palace. You will listen to the Kinyarwanda stories, and take a glance at
the long horned cattle. Thereafter, proceed with the drive, while watching the moving
trees, undulating hills and vast water bodies. An evening arrival at your lodge for check-
in, dinner and night stay.
Today, wakeup at 06:00 hours for preparations and breakfast. At 07:00 hours, you
should be at the park headquarters for a pretrekking and registrations. At this time, the
ranger guide will explain the trekking dos and don’ts, relationship between the chimps
and man, and more. Time taken to find these apes is something between 1-4 hours,
plus an additional hour for photography, studying the life, and unique characteristics.
Chimpanzees are very clever primates, and demonstrate some of their wisdom in the
daily life. Some of it is picking ants from the hall using grass, eating using sticks as fork,
and the calling signals. Chimps make over 25 unique sounds, feed on vegetables, and
are said to be of the same ancestry as man. After the trekking experience, you will have
a Lunch break, and thereafter, a canopy walk on a freely suspended canopy bridge over
the forest canopy. At the top, you will have the stunning view of the landscape, the
forest, the birds and primates. End the day with diner and overnight at the lodge.
After a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge, you will hit the road to Kigali
international airport, The Journey takes about 5-6 hours, with the view of the stunning
landscape, undulating hills, plantations and more. You will arrive and check-in at the
lodge around town, and after a rest, visit the historical genocide site in commemoration
of the 1995 victims of the Tutsi and Hutu conflict. More places you can visit around town
include the Kigali Genocide Museum, local markets and craft shops. Have dinner
around town, and the transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Start the day with a tasty glass of coffee. Afterword’s, a flight to Nairobi Kenya where
our company driver guide will happily meet and greet you; explain what will take place in
“the magical Kenya” and whatever you need to know. After sharing a glass of Juice,
there will be a scenic drive to Amboseli national park, located at the foot of the giant
Kilimanjaro national park.
The Journey is for approximately 5-6 hours, with an enroute stopover for lunch, and site
seeing where the driver guide deems stunning. End this day with dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, there is a sunrise game drive at the open savannah park. As you watch
the stunning landscape and the tallest mountain in Africa; there are elephants,
buffaloes, several antelope species, the birds, plants, vast water body, primates that
might come your way. The search gets over when you have seen and understood the
life of different wild animals.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch, check-out and embark on an
afternoon flight to Masai Mara reserve, flying over the majestic Great Rift Valley. Arrive,
have dinner and end of the day with campfire.
After breakfast, you will join the guide on a full day game drive experience, with a break
for Lunch. The morning and evening game drive lasts for about 3-4 hours each, with
chances of encountering among others; herds of elephants, herds of Buffaloes, zebras,
rhinos, lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, wildebeests,
several antelope species, the different plant species, birds and more.
The ranger guide will help explain what the animals do on daily basis to survival in the
Jungle, the behavior of the big cats, life expectancy, and reproduction, how territories
are marked and what animal feeds on what. Masai Mara reserve is a habitat to the
sought-after annual wildebeest migration from the Serengeti plains in the republic of
Tanzania. At sunset, you will retire from the day’s adventure with a yummy dinner meal
and a great sleep.
Kick-start the day with a heavy breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter hit the road on
an 8-9 hour scenic road trip to Serengeti National park in the republic of Tanzania.
There will be an enroute stopover for Lunch, and boarder clearance.
But also great views of the landscape, Lush vegetation, water bodies, and the Swahili
culture. Upon entering the park, and while driving to your lodge, the animal sight and
sound get your way. Arrive and check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Wakeup to an early breakfast meal at the lodge, and then off to the designated trail for a
4-5 hours’ sunrise game drive experience. It is time to identify the animals by name,
character, sound and color. Serengeti national park is one of the most visited safari
destinations in the African continent for its rich biodiversity.
The big 5 cats call it home (lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, Buffaloes), the cheetahs,
wild dogs, hyenas, vultures, different reptiles, birds, the different antelope species,
wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and more. On a lucky day, you can catch a hunt, fight,
birth, or get up-close to your favorite site. The Landscape of Serengeti is unmatched,
and you will be taken up on the camera.
After the game drive, you will have a lunch break, and then spend the evening with the
Masai warriors who will demonstrate the Swahili culture, cattle rearing skills, entertain
through dance, songs, and more. The day ends at sunset with dinner and overnight at
the lodge.
Have a relaxed breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter, you will check-out with an exit
game drive where you can chance the site of one or more animals or sceneries you
might have missed in quest of the sought after game.
Appreciate the conservation efforts through the route to the park, the African style
homesteads, plantations, and busy towns. An early afternoon arrival at the lodge in the
park for quality rest from the previous day’s activities. You will do lunch, dinner and
retire to bed at the end of the day.
Wakeup to a bright breakfast meal at the lodge, afterword’s go for a full day game drive
with a picnic lunch break with the view of the one of the largest land calderas on earth.
The lions, leopards, hyenas, wildebeest, wild dogs, waterbuck, gazelles, hippos, Oribis,
rhinos, vultures, reptiles such as the snakes, the primates, buffaloes, elephants,
stunning sceneries all for you to see. Ngorongoro crater is one of the nature wonders in
the world, with a wide range of biodiversity.
The guide will tell the story, and explain the facts about the different animals and the
conservancy. You will have a picnic lunch, and after a guided nature walk at the
caldera, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Wake-up for a breathtaking sunrise viewing over the caldera. At about 07:00hrs, you will
exit for bird watching at the designated birders trail. Ngorongoro crater is a home to over
500 bird species including the ostrich which is the world’s heaviest yet fastest land bird.
Others include the egrets, Kori bustard, pelicans, flamingoes, sunbirds, lovebirds, and
more. You can spot these by the water shores, swampy areas and more as your guide.
Birds are undoubtedly the most underrated yet if you get a person with much knowledge
of them, each bird has a unique story. Breakfast and lunch follow the first session, and
then dinner after a good rest. A sleep comes last.
After having a delicious breakfast at the lodge, you will check-out for a drive to the drop-
off point. Enroute, there will be a stopover at Olduvai gorge to see the fossils and study
the history of man.
It is said that the fossils discovered at Olduvia gorge are for some of the oldest
inhabitants on earth. Our guide will gladly have the last remarks on how the trip went,
and thereafter see you off.
