This 8 days Tribes of South Sudan expedition takes you to the south Sudanese, a people with an intact cultural identity, who will usher you to the shouts of the Dinka, the jumps of the Toposa, and the sight of the Manyattas. Explore the locals engaged in trade and other associated activities as you stroll through the historic Juba capital. One of the newest countries in the world, South Sudan is full with love, history, and cultural treasures. You will see the Dinka and the Mundari, well-known cattle breeders, The Bor through the White Nile, the Toposa, and the Boya on the one-week journey.
There are more than 57 tribes in the nation. As you learn more about culture, you will be taught to value historical beliefs. You will see some natives with their bodies marked, some with their bare chests—an identity they are proud of. It is an incredible eight-day trip that takes place in rural areas and is best traveled by road.

Day 1: Explore Juba Town
The 8 days Sudanese tribes' first experiences begin in Juba city, which is where you are. You will be met and given the go-ahead for the safari by our business driving guide. We’ll visit a few locations in the crowded town before treating ourselves to a delectable lunch. You will travel to the Boya and Toposa tribes via vehicle across the tropical zone after lunch. You will check into the lodge when you arrive for refreshments, supper, and a quiet dinner.
Day 2: Explore the local communities
You will spend some time observing local life after breakfast. not for you, but rather for the Toposa tribe. Keep an eye on their attire, transactions, and social interactions. We'll talk, sing, and learn about their way of life in the morning and evening. The Toposa people are friendly and sociable. At dusk, we'll eat dinner and retire for the night.
Day 3: A Day with the Boya Trip
At dawn, you will eat breakfast at the resort before admiring and documenting the breathtaking sunrise. The remainder of the day is spent in the Boya people’s home territory, the Kimatong hills. Together, you’ll eat, sing, and converse. You are welcome to tour the farms and fields, with unparalleled care and love. You will return to the lodging facility at dusk for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Visit the Dinka People
You will check out of the lodge following breakfast in order to travel to the Dinka people, one of the most well-known tribes in East Africa. There will be a lunch halt in Juba town. Continue your journey to the Dinka tribe from Juba. You’ll get there in the late afternoon, and you’ll spend most of the evening watching the herdsmen take the animals back to the crawls. After shooting pictures, head back to your camp for a snack, a hearty meal, and a restful nap.
Day 5: Happy time with the Dinka and Transfer to the Mingkaman Town.
The first meal of the day should ideally be what the Dinka love eating first thing in the morning with them to wake up their bowels. After that, you’ll spend the morning at the kraal observing how the locals take care of the animals as soon as daybreak arrives. From there, you will embark on a journey that will take you to Bor, where you will board a boat to cross the White Nile.
Enjoy the boat voyage to the landing area, where a driver will pick you up and take you to Mingkaman town. Before moving on to the Mundari cattle farm, one of South Sudan’s biggest cow ranches, in the afternoon, lunch is served here. Dinner and an overnight stay at the camp mark the end of your day, with all the activities continuing the following day.
Day 6: Mundari cattle camp exploration
You will meet the Mundari people and their livestock after breakfast. You will learn about their way of life and their love for the cattle they raise. Learn how to accomplish tasks like milking cows and making milk, or if you already know how to do them.
The experience of a fantastic safari will make you wonder about some of the customs. Adult boys and girls get the letter “V” tattooed on their bodies as a sign of their cultural identity. The Mundari people engage in farming and other similar pursuits.
Day 7: Explore the cattle keeping experience
The day continues with the same people at the same location after breakfast. Today, you apply the lessons you’ve learned about farming, raising cattle, and using cattle products. We’ll visit a couple villages and places noted for their birdlife for birdwatching. A wonderful breakfast meal and a restful siesta mark the end of this day.
Day 8: Departure
After savoring a hearty breakfast, you will check out of the resort and head back to Juba. If time permits, we offer you the opportunity to see Juba, where you will learn about its historical landmarks and trading locations. Before you head to the airport for your journey home, there will be a quick lunch.
